    360600 - Garden Plots

    Registration for garden plots is now online. The registration fee for residents is $15 per plot. There will be no charge for resident senior citizens. The registration fee for non-residents will be $20/per plot. Non-residents may reserve a plot beginning April 12, 2021. There will be no discount for non-resident seniors. Once you are registered, you will receive a phone call to pick out your plot. The guidelines and rules will be emailed out prior to the opening of the gardens. Registration deadline is May 20. Plots will be available around May 23, depending on weather and soil conditions. (CC)

    421203 - Spring Fling

    The Itasca Bunny will be hiding eggs at Washington Park this year! Register each child, ages 0 through 14, for one of the three time slots. Egg hunts will promptly begin five minutes after the start of each time slot. After the egg hunt, each family will have an opportunity to take a picture with the Itasca Bunny! While waiting to see the bunny, check your eggs for a prize ticket. Masks and social distancing will be required. One time slot per person. One adult per child. (ER)

    421207 - Flashlight Egg Hunt

    Grab your flashlights and head to the field at Washington Park for an Egg Hunt in the dark! Each participant will be able to hunt for 12 eggs. Make sure to check your eggs after for candy, prizes or the prize eggs! Masks and social distancing will be required. One time slot per person. (ER)

    421208 - Hoppy Visits

    TThe Itasca Bunny is hopping around town and visiting Itasca Park District and Village Residents. Participants will get a 5-10 minute driveway visit from the bunny and bunny basket! The first child in the household is $25, and any additional children are $15. Masks are required, except during pictures. Please plan to be home and ready anytime between 9:30 am and 12:00 pm. A more specific time frame will be emailed the day before. (ER)

    The Itasca Bunny's helpers are hopping around town and dropping of Spring Fling Egg Hunts on the front yards of Itasca Park District and Village Residents. 24 eggs and a bunny basket will be hidden per child. Bring the egg hunt to you in a fun and safe environment! Price is per child. (ER)

    421211 - Pot of Gold Scavenger Hunt

    Lucky the Leprechaun is trying to find his Pot of Gold! Can you help him? Participants will enjoy solving clues, riddles and puzzles that lead them on an exciting hunt for the Pot of Gold around Itasca! Complete anytime between March 12th and March 21st. Email correct locations you visited to erubo@itascaparkdistrict.com to be entered for a prize. The first clue will be email to you on March 12th at 12:00 pm. Price per family. You can register additional members to receive more entries for a prize.

    421212 - Trap a Leprechaun

    Do you have the luck of the Irish on your side to catch Itasca's mischievous leprechaun? The Park District has the inside scoop and knows when the leprechaun will be running around Itasca, leaving a trail of green items and even some gold coins in people's front yards. Set a trap in your front lawn and see if you can catch him! Don't be surprised if he leaves green items and trinkets to find in your front lawn, along with some gold coins around your trap. Make sure traps are set out in the front lawn on Monday, March 15th between 12:00-3:00 pm. This program is limited to Itasca Park District and Village Residents.

    421213 - Lucky's Flashlight Hunt

    Lucky, Itasca's Leprechaun, is helping us celebrate St. Patrick's Day with a Flashlight Hunt at Washington Park! He will be leaving green and gold coins, as well as some other fun treats for you to search for. Some items you fine can be turned in for prizes! All participants will walk away with a themed goody bag. Please bring a flashlight. Masks and social distancing are required. One time slot per child. (ER)
